Donna is also an APS accredited clinical supervisor and has held adjunct teaching posts over the years with major universities providing placement supervision, classroom teaching, training and research development for many psychologists in Queensland.  Beyond psychology practice, her health leadership career has included Director level appointments at major public hospitals across departments and service lines including psychology, allied health, education, research and outpatient services.  In recent years she has enjoyed her part-time management consultancy business,  supporting the NGO disability sector, including international consultancies in San Francisco and Dublin.

As a former and founding member of the Queensland division of the APS College of Forensic Psychologists,  Donna worked extensively in the forensic field delivering assessment and treatment services in high security forensic mental health settings and private consultancies including with correctional services. She has a renewed interest in the field and recently joined DGM part-time as a visiting consultant clinical psychologist. She is currently preparing DGM pre-sentence reports and delivers clinical support interventions for offenders pre and post incarceration. Donna’s current  interests in forensic psychology include clinical interventions for offenders with autistic spectrum disorders and intellectual disability. She is also keen to develop organisational support services for front line practitioners and agencies that interface with forensic clients including supports for  training, workplace culture, and staff care.
