ABOUT STEVE

Dr Steve Morgan: D.Psych (Forensic)

Steve is a doctorally-qualified Forensic Psychologist. He holds current registration as a Psychologist both in Australia and the United Kingdom.  He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and, in particular, the Australian Psychological Society College of Forensic Psychologists.  

Steve holds endorsement in the area of forensic psychology.  His specialist interests are within the civil and criminal jurisdictions.

He has been in private practice as a Psychologist and Trainer from 2001. He also holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. He has held academic posts with the Australian Catholic University, Griffith University (including with the Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention) and James Cook University. He was also appointed to the International Criminal Court in The Hague 2010-2011.

Steve works across the greater South-East Queensland region for treatment, intervention and consultancy. He regularly visits Kingaroy, Dalby, Warwick and Stanthorpe. 

​

Steve also attends all Correction Centres and other departmental sites across Queensland for the completion of psychological risk and other forensic formal assessments.

​

Steve is also available for assessment and reporting work across all states and territories
