Overview
This workshop will critically review current conceptualisations of the Personality Disorders based upon contemporary research and with a view to the 2025 ICD-II. The aim is to also critically examine the sustainability of our historical understanding of the Personality Disorders, including psychopathy. Allow Professor Sellbom to guide you through this complex domain of psychological practice.
This workshop will explore and address key issues, with learning goals:
1. To gain a contemporary understanding of categorisations of Personality Disorder and to what extent they are supported by current research.
2. To understand recent key research in the area of Personality Disorder.
3. To understand of how the Personality Disorders co-exist with other mental disorders.
